Well a little introduction.. I pretty much discovered this website as a leecher , and ive been starting to learn some coding but with school just starting again that has been sort of delayed =/. Although im not the best coder i hope i can maybe help some people out with something i have a little more experience in.. art!
Lol.. they are all mine and all original pieces. I could post the PSD if you guys wanted the link to my photobucket is extremekid21 - Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting Lots are for .dC members, the clan im in and have been in for a while, you might see lg<3MC, im mc lg is my gf, celedonia is my last name, if you look closely you will see iloveyoulauren in the alfa romero sig as the second line of text.
But yeah thats all mine, the wh1t3y (my personal sig) was made with just some simple blending options on a wood texture. A bevel and the layer set on multiply mode, a clipping mask of the same wood texture moved a bit over the text, some other stuff, not very hard at all. The text i just took a grunge brush and erased some of it. Any more questions?
Oh, and the Josh sig is already taken xD why else would i have made it?
Hey man, just read lots of tutorials, and just mess around in there. The tutorials a lot of people just do them then forget about them, but theres lots to learn from them. If i see a tutorial i like i might not even go for the product they have, and just apply it to some other piece of art.
Some GREAT tutorial sites aree: Photoshop Tutorials - PSDTUTS Photoshop Tutorials and Flash Tutorials - Tutorialized
Theres tons other but i learned a lot from those two. Mainly PSDTuts when you get to about intermediate. Also, joining a graphics community helps tremendously. They have their own tutorials, contests, and can give you true feedback on your work. You can find those everywhere.
Oh, forgot to mention if you use firefox stumbleupon is great. Just set the settings to graphic design and you will come across great sites with tutorials, inspiration, and lots of other things that might not have anything to do with art but are still cool to look at.
And Koto, which have you seen already? Im really eager to know. Or were you just trying to fit in with the other guy saying i didnt make them?
