A question about changing the default sfx and music in WaW Zombies
Recently, I started modding the sounds and sfx of WaW zombies, and changing them to something else, example: I changed the regular pickup/powerup sounds like "max ammo!", or "insta kill" from the default, to Nikolai's voice (extracted from BOII, using a sabl/sabs file extractor from this site). Now, the Perkacola replacement sounds worked and the pack-a-punch custom sounds work, but the "next round", "round over", "doground start", "doground end", "powerup/pickup", "boxleave", "gameover" sound replacements do not work. I replaced all the sounds possible in the iwds ( I listened to every .wav file to see what to replace, and there were multiple of the same music/sfx) and in-game it still sounds like the default powerup/pickup sounds, no Nikolai. Same with the dogroundstart, dogroundend, nothing. but with the roundstart, roundend, it's silent, no music.
what am I doing wrong? I can guess that the "roundend", and the "roundstart", don't play because its the wrong format of .wav (I could tell because vlc was having a hard time playing those specifically, and audacity couldn't open the original ones) Do I have to replace the sounds somewhere else? or do I have to resort to a full out mod?
