Custom built rig is what I have, just built it the other day.
Motherboard: P8Z68-V Pro
CPU: Intel core i7 2600k
Memory: Corsair Vengeance 8GB memory
Power Supply: 850w
Graphics: Intel HD Graphics Family(Intel HD3000)
May be since my motherboard is very good, and I have 8Gigs RAM.
If you look on youtube there's plenty of videos on people playing Crysis 2 and other high quality games with i7 and i5 integrated graphics.
If you built it, I would've gone with the i5 2500k. Benchmarks and performance tests show that on lower end games, the i7 only beats it by 3 FPS, so on modern games the FPS difference would be a decimal. In fact, the i5 even beats the i7 in some games. Plus, the i5 2500k has the same overclocking potential as the i7, 4.3 GHz easy on the stock cooler.
And yeah, the latest Intel integrated graphics are more than decent. They're just not so good at anti-aliasing or handling several textures at once, compared to a dedicated GPU with nice memory. Integrated Intel isn't practical, nor do i recommend it, but it can still run demanding games well.

Some people like laptops because they have friends and like leaving their house, but also enjoy gaming. I understand that might be a hard concept to grasp.
Don't have to be so rude but I have a laptop that is decent and can play some games that don't require such a good computer. I like to be able to move around and take it to places like school. I have a console if I want to play CoD so yeah...
