I think you mean 5 GB of ram, which is kind of an odd number, ddr2 is fine depending on what you are doing.
But it does seem like the ram is all mix-and-matched ram he had lying around and threw it all in the comp to just get a higher amount of ram.

You will not be able to run BF3 or SKYRIM on high settings with this. The 9800GT is outdated, you might be able to max out some newer games with a 9800GT but not the more graphically intensive games, they require slightly better GPU's that what the 9800GT has.

Also for $350 it is an okay deal, me personally I wouldn't use it for gaming, I would have bought it just to have as a spare computer, or a seedbox.
But then again not everyone plays all their games maxed out like i do, so for someone who wants a computer already set up, ready to go, I guess this could be for you.

hi, i dont think that the ram is ddr2, cuz that rlly outdated, im sure that is ddr3 and the video card still uses 512/1gb of ddr3 also. u should seek for a 2gb ddr5 video card, that will do great for gaming =D. hope that i helped

Ugh, $350 is a rip off. I would buy it tops $250, and only if I didn't have a computer. Even then its a bit pricey.

man i have the same video card with you and trust me you cant play battlefield 3 on high graphics!! if you want to play it on extra graphics buy MSI GTX560 TWIN FROZR II or better MSI GTX 560TI HAWX TWIN FROZR III OC(overclocked) and i would recomend to upgrade your ram to ddr3 kingston xyper x genesis 8 gb 1300mhz support XMP (xtreme memmory profile) for future overclock ram and i-core3 3.30ghz x2 with a coolermaster v8 cpu cooler its very good sustem for low price!!!

You have gotta be kidding me. No offense bro, but put this in context. I run battlefield 3 on ultra high with my laptop at:

    Intel i7 3920XM Overclocked to 4.1-4.5 ghz
    32 gb ram
    Dual GTX 675m cards
    17.3 inch screen.
    Windows 7 ultimate.

See the difference? You really have to be joking.

If yours is a desktop, then here is what I use for ultra high to high settings.

    Intel i7 3960x
    Asus Rampage I'V formula
    32 gb ram
    4x Amd radeon hd 7970
    Cooler master 1200w.

Dude, please don't tell me you are buying that computer for 350. As noova said, 250 is good. 200 in my opinion.

    You're a idiot.
    four 7970s for ultra high?
Thats the most idiotic post i've ever seen.

Also, you "spent" 4.5k on that laptop.
And you lug around a 14 pound laptop. Thats bullshit.

Nice. Calling others idiot while being stupid. How is the laptop I carry around your business? No one likes a troll and a dick. When you become rich, which, according to your attitude, will never happen, you can say all the bad stuff you want about the spoiled rich kid poster. Right now? Keep your mouth shut, troll.

---------- Post added at 08:54 PM ---------- Previous post was at 08:51 PM ----------

And besides, when are you the tech expert, einstein? I do othe rework then just play battlefield. Unlike you, Snowbrdd, yes I actually took the time to spell your name out and capitalize it, I do web design and have real work I can do other than troll other all day and use improper grammar. Your, is you're. Don't call me hypocritical as I'm trolling him, but come on, The truth speaks for itself.

I have never once said I'm a tech expert. On the other hand I AM a tech enthusiast and I already have plenty of money.

I found that in 5 minutes.
You can easily know that you can run it on ultra. Also there's no such thing as ultra-high.
