How do i make my combat arms stop crashing after like 1min peoplez?
Get more ram, or maybe it's just your shit computer, either way get skill and play legit, this game is fairly easy. @Jazzie she can't do anything now because it would just be a clusterfuck if she made a new thread there, but yeah next time post your problems in help.
You might be using a unsupported computer that happened to me when I first bought my windows ultimate. If you are using windows 8 or windows ultimate I suggest you buy Windows Vista 64 bit off windows site or find a "blackhat" way of getting which I DONT recommend.
this might help(found this on the combat arms forums):
(its in quotations because i did not type this)
" For those who are affected by the ongoing problem of the game closing itself shortly after beginning gameplay, the Combat Arms Team extends our apologies! We want you back in the game and have been working to investigate and resolve this problem to do exactly that.
...For those who are scanning this text for the solution, unfortunately we do not have a concrete answer at this time :^| Work will continue and the Combat Arms team will strive to communicate better when new information is confirmed.
Below is information concerning what QA has confirmed for this crash
Windows 7 is affected
Both 64bit and 32bit versions of Windows 7 are the most commonly reported users. This also puts Windows Vista users at risk but reports have not been nearly as high.
Incorrect Windows Registry may be a Culprit
With high probability, if a computer has Combat Arms registry keys set incorrectly, the game will shut itself down in a fashion matching player reports. This would most likely occur if the installation folder has been moved to a new directory or if the game has been installed repeatedly to different directories.
Windows Compatibility Mode being enabled for CombatArms.exe or Engine.exe may aggravate
With high probability, if either\both of these two .exe files have Compatibility Mode enabled the game will crash on launch. This is not identical to player reports of 3-5minutes of game time taking place before the crash occurs, but may be a possible factor given the prominence of players changing this setting for troubleshooting.
Right now one of the largest hurdles is figuring out how to make this issue happen on a computer that doesn't crash. This will provide vital information that can be forwarded on to the developers to escalate discovering a fix.
Please keep relevant details concerning this crash coming to the forums and support tickets. And many thanks to the players who posted the requested information to the sticky! :^) "
