It can't be patched, it's textures. Unless the core change, and it hasn't.

depends if you got alteriwnet or steam version and where you installed it.

If you got a 64bit OS it should be:
C: > Program Files (x86) > Steam > Steamapps > Common > call of duty modern warfare 2 > main

or if you got a 32bit OS:
C: > Program Files > Steam > Steamapps > Common > call of duty modern warfare 2 > main

You got have winrar/7zip and put the textures in the right IWD file
