Request for moder willing and able to hack and mod Warface.

I am an Xbox gamer, soon to be on the steam machine, and am wondering if it might be possible for someone to take the files from the Xbox edition of Warface and use its controller support to overwrite that of the PC edition because for me it doesn't feel right to play an FPS with a mouse and keyboard.

No, there is no native controller support for the game.
Yes, there are other support options such as xmapper, but any external support for controllers is inadequate.
And No, it isn't likely that Crytek will do this for us in the near future, despite having had this game on Xbox 360 for some time followed by it being discontinued.

For anyone who can do this, if it is possible, but doesn't know what to expect of this, here is the button layout.

    A-Jump
    B-Crouch
    B(hold)-Prone
    B(during sprint)-Slide
    Y-Cycle Weapons (primary/secondary)
    X-Reload
    X(hold)-Use/Interact
    RT-Fire Weapon
    LT-Aim Down Sight (ADS)
    RB-Hand Grenade
    LB-Special
    LB(hold)-Quick Chat
This comes in the form of a wheel in which the right stick is used to highlight the different options in the wheel and RT to select the highlighted option, triggering your guy to speak accordingly to what option was selected.
    D-pad(up)-Customize Weapon
    D-pad(right)-Select Melee
    D-pad(left)-Cycle Grenades/Explosives
    D-pad(down)-Change Fire Mode
    Start-Menu
    Back-Scoreboard
    RS-Look
    LS-Move
    RS(click)-Melee Attack
    LS(click)+LS(forward)-Sprint
    (In weapon customization menu)
    B-Scope
    X-Muzzle
    Y-Rail
    (In between lives)
    A-Respawn
    LB/RB-Cycle Spectator Cam

Controller support is only important for gameplay and is not at all needed in the main menu.
If this is possible and is done, the one responsible may be well compensated for doing so, and will surly be something of a hero to those of us from the Xbox community who liked Warface. I do have the Xbox edition and should be able to send it's files. Then again if it isn't possible then I guess this post should be deleted, lol

I think if you plug in an Xbox 360 or one controller it'll work without you need to mod a game that way, ever thought of trying that?

Edit: nvm... It could be possible only if you like posted it to right section then maybe.. I believe there's a section for Warface around MPGH, you need to search for it.
