So we punish older-generation gamers for not being able to afford an already ridiculously expensive system? I'm sorry, but that whole argument is bs.
Xbox 360 and PS3 were the first times we have ever experienced an online community on consoles, PS2 and Xbox1 Had terrible issues which made it almost impossible to use. This is the first time we have a newer console that uses the same online mechanics, and devs don't know how to go about not making games for older generation systems. The reason they make these games for older generation systems is to not lose the fanbase that is still stuck on older generation consoles, and to not make games for them would mean roughly 60% of the fanbases would be lost, and everything would be scrapped since they don't make the quota for their next game.
You talk like it is a simple fix, but there is easily a higher population using old-gen consoles over new gen consoles. To focus solely on newer generations would mean they WANT to lose all their money.
I reitterate. Think before you speak.
Ofcourse I think about that. Don't come up to me with 'think before you speak' bullshit. Older generations are just not suited anymore for 2015 games. It isn't that hard. The hardware is too old, it can't handle it. Why would you release an unfinished game. Why is Fallout 4 and Six Siege not being released on PS3/XBOX360? Because old-gen is outdated. In 2016 almost no new games will be released for PS3/XBOX360.
