OK the difference between eating protein and drinking protein shakes is that protein shakes are extra protein that helps while eating too much meat is not necessarily good for you on the macro level since you still have to count calories.

You can accomplish a lot by eating right.
You can definitely gain more with shakes. And shakes are a convenient source of protein. Kinda hard after a workout to go home and eat some chicken breast every time but eating right is also key.
