You're confusing love with lust.
I don't believe in love at first sight, however, falling in love with someone once you've known them for a while (For their personality, looks come second after personality to me atleast) is completely plausible.

Aynway, my opinion is that there really is no "love" at first sight. I mean, you can be attracted to someone at first sight, of course. But you cannot call that love, because it's not. Only a 6th grader would believe that it is. :P
Scientifically, it takes 2 'complete' years to fully know someone. This is why people who get married within 2 months of knowing each other usually have an extremely high chance of divorce lol.
