Capitalism doesn't do it's job. Companies get away with highway robbery. Patent protects live saving drugs and aren't able to be duplicated, but can be marked up and sold for 100000% its production cost. That's the whole reason Obamacare was put in, to put checks on companies taking advantage of people. As a progressive western nation, we're far behind similar countries in health care.
We're human beings not monsters, people should not be left to die just because they don't make as much as other people.
The market is the regulation in capitalism. Going farther than just the healthcare there are bigger issues in America. The amount of jobs we are losing in America is 90% because of this regulation. Even with all the regulation you see companies raising the prices of these drugs. In true capitalism there would be more competition because the amount of hoops you have to go through with the FDA is too large for small companies to compete with. You say we are behind with our healthcare but you look at the countries with free healthcare for all and the tax number is so large that of course you should recieve free healthcare as they have already bent you over and taken a vast majority of your money.
