Well since MPGH is my first internet home, I believe it would be fitting to let the members on here know what I'm doing to my car.
This past Saturday, March 6th 2010, a friend and I began working on wiring my car for a subwoofer. We started at 9pm and finished at 2ish am. The car is completely wired as of now for a new subwofer. I have 4 gauge power lines beneath the driver side door sills that are going to be running 1000-1200 continuously. Also along that side is the wiring for the bass knob that i attached right under the dash next to the steering wheel column.
I also attached my amp to the subwoofer box, we'll see if it'll handle the vibrations.
What I have left to do:
Get my head unit in, I could have done this already, but I have a Can-Bus compatible harness on the way, the head unit should be installed tomorrow when i get my package.
Get my subwoofer in, ordered it last week but it's being hand built so it hasn't left the company yet. Looking to see this put in by the end of the month.
