I'll try not to repeat that in the next threads.
Basic geometry is nowhere near comparable to relativity

I'm being 100% objective.

3. Area of one triange x itself x itself ? .

If you had read the 1st post, you would've figured out that I said that this thread was inspired from your thread, which doesn't necessarily mean it has to be the same. I know that relativity and geometry are 2 different things.

5. (1/3)b²h

That is off the top of my head from my geometry class that I had over 4 years ago. That I literally slept through. cbf to actually do the math though.

6. So the answer is 225.7707785, so lets say 225.77..

Am i right?

So this is what got inspired by relativity. Goodie.

YES! THE ANSWER IS CORRECT!!!! HERE IS THE EXPLANATION:

Base of a regular four-sided pyramid is a square with sides of length a=8m with a diagonal long 8√2m. (diagonal is the length of the side * √2)

Consider the triangle that makes up half the diagonal length: d/2 = 8√2 = 4√2m, the lateral edge of the length b=12m and the height "h".

The Pythagorean theorem states:
b^2 = h^2 + (d/2)^2
We get that:
12^2 = h^2 + (4√2)^2, it follows that h =√112 = 4√7m

Now we can calculate the volume:
V = 1/3 * B * h = 1/3 * a * h^2 = 1/3 * 8^2 * 4√7m^3 = 256/3√7m^3 = 225.77m^3

9. at first i did 0.33 * 8 * 8 * 10.58, which sounded to be the same as 1/3..

When i did 8 * 8 * 10.58 / 3.. the correct answer showed up..

Weird..

@Alen Heartview said that. I just liked your thread and it just fell on my mind why wouldn't I make a similar thread, but about geometry since I love math. Thats all.

Yeah, small mistakes always fuck up everything.

Frankly I like discussing physics more than just math anyways.
