You stop feeling pain after a pretty low pain level (at least I do).
I broke my arm, rib, and leg in 1 fall, and I was laughing like nothing happened.
If you get an adrenaline boost, you won't feel nothing meanwhile, let me tell you a story about a chechen soldier
Back when there was war,the soldier heard hes son got killed by the enemy(2y)
He turned so mad about hes loss that he had an overdose of adrenaline, not only did he annihilate all of the enemys,he got shot in hes leg twice without noticing, thanks to hes adrenaline
I dont know if you ever had this, but when you turn or you're stuck between something and you have an adrenaline attack, you focus on that one thing, meanwhile anything could happen to you,as long as if you didn't notice(which i mean you didnt look at) a part of your body being hurt, you won't even feel a thing, until your adrenaline run is over(remains for 10 mins)
But,their goal isn't to get a soldier hes son killed everytime, their goal is to control pain so they would notice without caring
