a friend of mine earns £40k a year he works 3 days a week and has 2 company cars and his house and bills paid for him

I'm a trained aerial paramedic, soon to be a trained aerial engineer where I could get paid £48k a year to go out and do a rotation on a oil rig
currently I only work in the industry as a climbing instructor during the summer and a paramedic during the winter

The job market is just really brutal.I've been doing warehouse work and looking for state park jobs on my down time.
I'm still on the fence on whether to put another year into it and get my Bachelors.
I worry about what kind of future there is going to be for this line of work.
