Why don't we get along?

How does doing any of those things relate to being peaceful? We travelled deserts, voyaged oceans and even set foot on the moon primarily because of selfish and competitive reasons. If anything it's a wonder people even think we are capable of "global peace", let alone believing that a state of complete equality and peace would bring faster advancement or similar shit.

Those pictures have no relation to peace whatsoever though. I do infact understand the part of not "reaching" an understanding between races, religion, and culture, but still. Kind of going off of what @Alen said; there will never be a day where everyone will get along. Everyone is different, and some people will hate other religions, cultures, and races. Even if there's only one last person who can't have peace with others; well. Look at what Hitler did. He turned everyone by himself - literally - against the jews. That's all it took. Though, not to mention many people hated Jews before him most likely, but we can't prove that. Though himself as one human being caused 8million jews to die.
