Like I said, windows 8 has done a lot of very impressive threading improvements. Considering that's the prerelease, the final build should have many optimizations to come.

Do not want to enter enclosed garden. Improvements are minor, no more registry decay is a plus, but other than that it's a step closer to Microsoft grabbing you by the balls. Ask any person in any IT related industry, W8 is a nightmare waiting to happen.

I torrented the RTM version, works perfectly imo and the FPS rates are also slightly better for me.

I hope to god that Microsoft doesn't fuck up with the support/migration of indie/open source devs teams.
