SHOULDA BEEN THAT GUY SO WE KNEW WHAT THE FUCK U WERE TALKING ABOUTThis guy was across the street from me, though I was on my bike on the sidewalk, was driving a big Toyota Tundra like truck, and had hitched a trailer (those things that you put a car or whatever on top, forgot it's name) and had one of those 15 ton catipillar loaders on it. All of sudden I hear scratching like locked wheels sliding on asphalt and I look over and I see the truck turning slightly right off the lane, then he pulls left to stop it from pushing him into the sidewalk directly across the street from me, and the trailer starts tipping over. He turns right again and slams the breaks or something, and the tractor thats chained to the trailer keeps spinning and makes his truck do a horizontal 180 and almost slammed into the fence.
His whole vehicle ends up off the road facing the opposite direction he was coming from.
No one got hit or anything, but if I hadn't crossed the street, I'd probably be tasting 15 tons of steel spinning from a 40 mp/h speed. /skared
Everyone stopped for like 10 seconds, to check if he was OK. I was contemplating taking a picture but didn't want to be THAT GUY who's snapping pictures when someone almost died. Then I was like fuck it after 10 seconds and I was getting ready to take a picture and he just drives into the nearby neighborhood like 10 feet away without checking if the vehicle or trailer was damaged or anything. But you could hear the hitch dragging on the ground and it was making a noise like it was damaged. So I didn't get a picture.
