Wow sucks, dem russian hackers and their illegal shitSometime last night, I was browsing pages when all of a sudden I get a redirect to a AT&T Page saying "Your account has been suspended. Click continue to reactivate" or some shit. The next page basically told me to log in with my account info to reactivate. I was still connected, but any page I went to was redirected to this page
Well, my parents are out of town so I couldn't log in myself (Strangely enough the log in page would not load either), so I used my phone to find a link to a customer support chat that I could get to, and they told me the only way to get back online was to call the Credit and Billing support department because I could not verify my identity by answering the security question we had set. We are in a bit of a "situation" so I thought oh looks like we missed another bill so I just went to bed (it was 3am when i got shut off)
Get a text this morning from moms, "Got a call from AT&T, Said my account was accessed from somewhere in Russia. Can't get into any emails, and We never set a security question on our AT&T account."
this is what the redirect looked like, but instead it just told me "Your account has been suspended"
tl;dr some Russian got access to our AT&T account, changed our billing passwords and set his own security question, and changed passwords on both parents emails
