No caffeine or shit, that makes you feel more awake, but will not improve your performance.
Proteins: This doesn't really help you in race, but will recover your muscles after the run faster.
Carbs: Eat something that contains a lot of carbs, it generates glucose, which is the main source of energy.
Don't exceed eating.
It's only 5-10 minutes running, nothing will make a big differece, just practice and practice.
Improve and contribute to the LoL section, anything you do could save it.
I'm trying to run as many laps as I can for 5 minutes. I'm trying to find a bunch of stuff I can consume in order to do more laps by sprinting and never slowing down for the whole thing.
So far I got a few things:
Cocaine Energy Drink (1 can) for caffeine for the crazy amount of energy
Gatorade (1 bottle) for electrolytes (does Gatorade hydrate you? Or will I need water?)
Creatine for a fast energy source for my muscles.
Dont drink Gatorade (personal experience) It will make you pee like craaazy.
and the other thinks you have listed might hurt your health
Would it be safe to take them both along with all the other stuff I'm taking?
I wouldn't suggest taking them BOTH. If you've never taken a pre-workout supplement, they make you feel really tingly and itchy, and you're full of adrenaline. Hence the name of one of them (1MR = 1 More Rep)...Be sure to control you're breathing too. Will help with your endurance.
