A few things you could try. I'm not a computer expert nor do I know much about DDos'ing so these things may not work.
- Restart your laptop/computer. Normally computers run slowly because the RAM is holding too much data. Restarting will remove any temporary memory from the RAM.
- Open Task Manager and look for any processes that are not needed or are suspicious and end them. Additionally, look in the Details/Services tab and see if there is anything that should not be running or is using too a lot of resources and end them unless they are essential.
- Try running CCleaner. It may remove things associated with the problem from the hard drive.
- If you have one, replace the hard drive with another one. If the computer is still slow with this hard drive, the problem lies in another component of the computer.
Let me know how it goes. Good luck.
