A persons salary should be defined by their experience and usefulness to a company, not what reproductive organs they have.
Look at all the "high-risk" jobs. It's "male dominated". Firefighters, coal miners, police officers, construction workers, and especially soldiers (many countries only draft men). The suicide rate for men is higher than it is for women. It's obvious that western society holds the life of a woman greater than a man. Equality for women in the workforce is seen as holding positions of power and influence (with the salary to match). That's not equality, that's domination. Equality is being equal, not greater than. When women start doing the dirty work then women will be truly "equal" to men. But no, there will never be true equality because 1 + 1 doesn't equal 1. Men and women think different, men and women are built different. We are different. We're civilized enough to realize that treating each other differently makes no sense, and in the years to come gender will not matter. You can't force ideology, it has to evolve over time.
