How many hours though? Get a savings, for the first year of your job you're gonna be burning through all that money too easily.
It varies, a job can last anywhere from 1-5 hours with the average being around 2.5 hours. I've already taken the precaution of me blowing through money by giving 90% of it to my parents to keep until I really need something.
Yeah.... twice minimum wage but very short hours isn't that much lol. Good thinking though, make a spreadsheet in Excel to start listing your expenses and savings, it really helps in the end. I've been running on a spreadsheet since I first started working and in retrospect, I wasted so fucking much.
Today was a good day. My Uncle is an electrician and he invited me out to a job at a local pub pretty close to where I live, nothing special, just to wire up some sockets and run cables and stuff for a concert the pub was hosting. Everything was pretty basic and due to the fact that I take Engineering Science as one of my school subjects I knew how everything had to be wired up. It took us near enough 3 hours to hook everything up and to test that everything was safe. After my Uncle collected his payment from the owner of the bar we headed out and he brought up how he'd like me to come out on any job that he gets and give him a helping hand. Things progressed and he said that he'd pay me £10/h (around $16.70/h) which put a pretty large smile on my face. As a 15 year old earning near enough double the minimum wage then I'd say I'm in a pretty good spot right now.
So then MPGH, how's your day been?
How are you going to lie to us?
I know you be selling your sperm to creepy men in alleys.
