A 26-year-old Australian Harrison Williams was boating with friends when they came upon the rotting carcass of a whale. Unlike his friends, Williams saw a unique opportunity to surf the dead beast. Also unlike his friends, Williams failed to notice the great white sharks eating the carcass.
“Mum thinks I’m an idiot,” Williams said “Dad’s not too proud either.”
They might have a point. And as for the great white sharks?
“He was too busy chomping on the whale so wasn’t too bad,” Williams explained.
It appears that the only crime Williams committed was against common sense. Since the whale was already dead, he technically didn’t do anything wrong. All things being equal,
“I’ve done it, I don’t need to do it again,” he told Sky News.
