Bill Krissoff’s son was killed in Iraq more than a year ago. After his son passed away, Bill felt the need to honor his son. Since he is an orthopedic surgeon, he took a decision that surprised his entire family, he enlisted in the Navy Medical Corps with hopes of being sent to Iraq. But since he was 61 years old at the time and way past the enlistment age limit, they wouldn’t comply with his request, they thought he was too old to be serving as a medic, let alone sent to the war in Iraq. But then he met president Bush and his luck changed.
