    are you for real?? the nvidia gtx 260 to 285 cards can cost around $300 to $500.
    also i have 3 computers. one with a gtx 285 other with a gt 9600 in sli and another with radeon 5750 in crossfire and i gota say that thay are good but a complete WASTE OF MONEY!

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    my true opinion is that get the gt 220 or 240.
    220 can play all games on medium-high settings. it can also play mw2 maxed out at 90fps. and crysis medium high with 30+ fps.
    the 240 will play all games max settings and on crysis it can play maxed out and never seems to go below 30fps.
    the best part about those cards is that there cheap!
    a 220 will cost about $60 to $100 and a 240 can cost $75 to $110 and even more is that they only need a 300 watt psu so if you have a hp or dell or any store bought computer you wont need to upgrade your psu.
    I paid $5 for the computer cuz my friend needed $5 for something (idk what) (not drugs-lol-) and its really good, the graphics card and power supply were the only problems.
    A GT 240 will run MW2 at 20 FPS average on maxed out settings which is barely playable. Also probably runs crysis maxed out at about 5-10 FPS if even that considering even the higher end GTX 260-280 don't even run crysis at max settings at playable frames...
    ATI and nVidia both make great cards, just depends on what price range you're looking at really. 9800s are really cheap from nVidia and run most games on high settings. HD 4800+ are also really good cards that run most games these days on high settings. Might be worth looking into bottlenecks created by other components before upgrading though. (CPU, RAM)
