    [SOLVED]Ump.45 Skin Help

    Hi well i was wondering if any experineced skin modder cna help me you here as yopu can see when you use the ump in game its has scracthes and i was thinking is you can remvoe it or piant over it so it loks like new you know what i mean ?

    FFS, this is the modding section where people release their own mods, and occasion, help other people. At the very least, at least TRY to make it yourself, before coming here and asking everyone to do it all for you. Not being mean or anything, but not everyone is just going to do it for you. Look at the file in iw_11 and see if you cant do it yourself first.

    i done it a tons of times i always get diffrent file size does it matter?

    See here. Also the Generate MIP maps option needs to be checked. I've heard it varies, but for every gun I've done (pretty much all of em) leaving generate MIP maps checked is just fine.

    ok ty oh what i did was open the file from iw 11 and get the finger print one in cs5 and then opened the ump col file from iw 07 and i copied and pasted it over the one from iw 11 and i just burned it to make it darker is that okay

    still no luck i keep messign up

    You don't copy and paste the finger prints onto the gun if you don't want it ffs. To fix it, color the iw_11 file how you want and do everything like you did for the ump_col mod (one with finger prints)
