Just saying this all from memory,Apparently EA knows how the disk sizes for PS3 and Xbox 360 kind of hold back the game,so for both consoles,you will get the option to download a high res texture pack for bf3 free when the game comes out for better textures,I think thats cool since I've never seen a developer do that.

You're not downloading it. It's already on the discs (one for single player, one for multiplayer), you just have the option to install it. Anything that has to do with the game being made is DICE. Anything that has to do with advertising, publishing, and releasing is EA.

For example: The BF3 beta was DICE's idea, but EA used their shitty servers.
