IP Ban

I was IP banned because my friend came over my house and he was banned for scamming. The IP's were compared and since he has been over my house they were the same. We aren't the same person. I talked to @Insane about it and he said that I would be blacklisted but Un-IP banned. I'll take the blacklisting (even though I'm not a scammer) because I like the community. Is there something anybody can do about this?

Honestly, this excuse has been used so many times, "My friend, my cousin, my neighbor. my brother" etc. The truth of the matter is, it's your computer and your account so it is YOUR responsibility. I will bring this up to Dave, but honestly, you should not be unbanned. In any case, you can obviously still use the site, so it is a minor inconvenience at best.

And he was begging me on msn the other day to unban him.

And now that you're trying to get him unbanned and blacklisted (which is what he wanted) is suspicious.

You're even lucky you got unbant + blacklist in the first place.
If I could 'close' disputes I would on this one because I've told you this who knows how many times.

Oh, and honestly we have no exact way of knowing that you're not the same person.
Is it possible? Probably.
But we have no way of knowing. (Don't go sending me two facebooks saying thats me this is him, I don't want that.)
This is the internet and there's no such thing as trust.

I'm not trying to get anybody else unbanned or anything at all. All I want is my IP unbanned. If not ok. I am already blacklisted and understand that. I dont know how I can prove we arent the same person but I'm up for anything.

We dont share the same password? I have only used 2 passwords (have to change after 90 days) and I used the same one I used b4. The only password of mine he has is the password for my wirless internet router. We are not the same person. How can I prove that?
