    UPDATE

    I'm getting closer to where I wanna be.
    Spent a lot of time on various tweaks and balancing improvements.
    The way it is now, I've had both teams win about equally.
    Oh and I figured 'Terminator Invasion' would be a more appropriate name since I can't find a model that looks like a robot, but Terminators can look like humans, so..whatever, lol.



    Key Features:
    Humans:
    - LSW Thermal, AT4 Rocket Launcher and C4 (unlimited)
    - Permanent UAV
    - Precision airstrike and Pavelow standing by
    - killstreaks predator, AC130 and EMP obtainable

    Terminators:
    - Slow movement, no jump
    - AC130 HUD with thermal vision
    - 105mm, 40mm and 25mm AC130 Guns
    - Extra health
    - Malfunctions when reached critical damage, regenerates
    - No radar, No killstreaks


    Features to be implemented if possible:
    - Disable class selection screen
    - Disable 'Spetsnaz' 'TF 141' etc
    - Make coldblooded an obtainable 'killstreak'
    - Disallow Prone for Terminators
    - Earthquake Apocalypse effect, with time intervals, not triggered by players
    - AT4 lock-on on enemy players

    Known Bugs:
    - When AC130 killstreak is obtained, HUD and crosshairs dissappear once you scroll
    - Killstreaks dissappear if you walk before you use them
    - No detonator for C4, now you have to throw 3 to detonate the first

    Removed features:
    - Change model for Terminators. No good alternative model found.
    - Earthquake Apocalypse effects, triggered by users resulted in too much chaos and lag

    BETA testers and coders may now apply
    Please let me know in this thread if you can/want to help with one of the following (in order of preference):
    - Coding the 'Features to be implemented' mentioned above
    - General revision of the code (cleaning up my noobish mess )
    - BETA testing for bugs, feedback, suggestions, etc.

    I'm totally new to textures, do they work client side, or will everyone in the server see them?

    PS:
    With the earthquake effect, I mean something like this:

    I know how to do this, but it is triggered by a button, so any user in the server can trigger it. It'd be great if I could have this happen every minute or so.

    mm true, works only clientside... must be a way to make them more robot alike.

    I think you should only like, put the machinegun for the robots or else they will be OP, like using the mega shoot one xD, so its just an opinion btw... and also make humans have Super jumps???(an advantage to robots to make balance) well idk, good work so far!!!

    O.o, well... if that is the case i have been following this thread for a few days and i am a bit interested in the project... I would love me to be a beta tester and host this, this is the order i would like to happen.

    1st. Beta testing- I always love to test things out and always host my own servers...plus i am bit of a critic(Had to redo the whole aliens and pred thing and guns... Ps, aliens are OP)

    2nd.General revision of the code - I know some of the basics of .gsc codes so maybe i can help clean some things up or find any errors if one so occurs...

    3rd. Coding the features - I barely know how to code things from scratch so... not recommended for me.

    You don't want to know how much I have changed over and over again in order to balance this.. my god..
    things like speed and health for example have to be JUST right.
    Make robots too slow and players will complain, make am too fast and they get too powerful, and so on..

    The way it is now, I am rather pleased tho.
    As I said, I played a few matches with the current version, and have seen both teams win about the same amount of matches.

    The robot weapons are indeed extremely powerful, and they have insane health (takes two well placed AT4 rockets to take one down), but that's the idea you know? They're f*ng terminators! lol. The whole idea is to have an all out war.

    The hard thing is to keep the concept respected.
    For example: giving humans super jump wouldn't be 'realistic'.
    Giving them heartbeat-sensors wouldn't make sense, cos robot don't have heartbeats.. thermal does make sense cos robots would be rather hot. etc etc.

    So, yes, robots are extremely powerful, but they're slow, have very long reload times, don't have uav, jump, killstreaks, etc.
    Humans are fast, have no reload, have permanent UAV, have constant airstrikes coming in and a pavelow in the air at all times.
    Either team can win. Certainly Domination is a lot of fun and well balanced.

    Hi all,

    I am close to releasing this.
    I added a lot of interesting new features I think you guys will like.

    There are a few things I want to get right before release, but I haven't figured them out.
    So if someone can help me out with one of these things, it'd be greatly appreciated:


    - Disable class selection screen (I know it's possible by editing _menu.gsc, haven't figured it out yet)
    - Disable 'Spetsnaz' 'TF 141' +logo showing up after choosing team. (should be possible?)
    - AT4 lock-on on enemy players (no idea if it is possible)
    - UAV is permanent (red dots never dissappear), how to make it like normal UAV, updated every X seconds? (my god, how hard can this be?? but I can not figure this out.. sigh. Ofcourse I can give uav as a killstreak, but I don't want humans having to call it in, it has to be online the whole time.

    Known Bug:
    - When AC130 killstreak is obtained, HUD and crosshairs dissappear once you scroll (killstreak are obtained very rarely, lol, so not the biggest problem, still, if someone can fix this..)

    OMG!! I played this mod once, and let me tell you.......IT IS AMAZING. Like it is just chaos everywhere! This is the best mod I have played so far. Can I put my semen in a jar and send it to you so you can have my baby?

    You are doing an amazing job....I wish I could do something like this, and I have a great knowledge of various languages, but I just cant seem find where to start....
