Hello, everyone who 'Knew' what WildcatzNet used to be probaly thinks it was a fail correct? Well I'm here to inform you I, Wildcatjonah can confirm this will not be a fail better yet it will succeed in everyway. Currently I'm setting up the VPS, to run the server on. I have emplented a Login System, this being said you must be registered here and active to play on the server. Future projects may involve Black Ops, and/or Modern Warfare 3, although I can not confirm whether these projects will be done. WildcatzNet is using the well known AlterIWNet client, and server files for time being. This will change soon enough, and yes one of the reasons I've started WildcatzNet back up is because of my recent ban giving by Convery. As before we had 'Hacking Kingdom' that will be avaliable to use commonly known hacks as Wallhacks, Aimbot, etc. That section will be recorded and if you are caught cheating outside of that desired playlist section you will be permatly banned. I will enforce donations only to provide the best service and keep the server live 24/7, if the server does go down you will be alerted by either Facebook, and or Twitter. Basically what i am trying to achieve is cloning/replicating the Black ops server for PC, i will be doing this using a variety of tools such as wireshark: for observing the unencrypted network packets and protocols, Dwcryptonet: this is used to analyze and unencrypt encrypted network packets and protocols, it has been designed specifically for the Demonware server. however i would need to modify the coding of the program, in order for it to be compatible with analyzing ps3 protocols (as it was intended for PC servers), (i am working on it at the moment).
Some findings of mine about the black ops PC server:
PC black ops servers, and PS3 black ops servers have same protocols (request and answers are the same)
Measures used to prevent Reverse engineering and sniffing of protocols: SSLv3 and TLSv1

Last time wildcatznet was working:
+ Hex edited the aIW name out from the client and claimed it as 99% done by them.
+ No dedicated servers.
+ Had a lot of problem compiling the open source code.
So ye, if he can get the basic client working it would be without dedicated servers. So aIW with dedicated servers and a lot of players vs the new network that got no dedicated servers and like 3 players..

Yeah, basically, aIW is just a few components. Dedicated server, client, playlist server, steam_api, master server for updates. But coding all of that, or starting from scratch is a lot. Definitely not something your average wanna-be coder can do. I've worked on quite a few large scale professional C++ projects before, but that's with 4-5 other programmers and I don't even want to approach a project like the components for aIW. Messy and tedious, and unpaid
