    Transparent textures?

    Does anyone know any method on how to create transparent d x t1, and d x t5 textures?

    I use alpha maps in the same document, a variety between gray, black, and white; and all they do is make the texture in-game look less bump/specular mapped(it also removes the artificial edges from some textures, maybe its for displacement?)
