I need some help with a game i know this has nothing to do with AvA but im confused and need a little help if people with knowledge about game programming can help it will be awesome
so... me and a few other people are currently translating a recent psp release from Japanese to English but now with english text it shows the text slower than the original japanese text is there anyway to speed it up and yes the option ingame has its text speed set at its maximum level so i would appreciate it if someone could help me speed up the text with c++ or help find a method i am not sure if i can post about this and sorry if im not i don't know but hope someone can help thanks
here is what needs to be done just to make it more clear and also a person with ASM knowledge help
- Text Reading Speed
- Box Sizes + Text Position
- Character Naming (To make it use the Vfw 2 byte not the 1 byte spaced ASCII Font)
- If possible..: Make the Vfw the game uses take up 1 Byte instead of 2. This way we would have no space problems any more. An alternative would be a compression that does the same thing.
