The M240 has been used by the United States armed forces since the mid 1980s. It is used extensively by infantry, as well as ground vehicles, watercraft, and aircraft. Despite not being the lightest medium machine gun in service, the M240 is highly regarded for reliability, and its standardization among NATO members is also seen as a major advantage.
The M240 has mild recoil for a light machine gun, but enough to throw off aim at medium to long distances. Because of this, a Grip is recommended. Otherwise, the weapon is somewhat unremarkable, with a slightly obstructive yet open iron sight, decent reload time, damage, and rate of fire. Scavenger is recommended as the weapon expends ammunition quickly. If used with both a Grip and Red Dot Sight, the M240 can be very effective at all ranges if bursting is used.
* Grip (reduces recoil)
* Red Dot Sight
* Holographic Sight
* Silencer (reduces both damage and recoil)
* Heartbeat Sensor (allows the user to track multiple and close targets)
* ACOG Scope
* Thermal Scope (is very effective on this weapon, making the grip less useful)
* FMJ (full metal jacket, this is similar to ,,DEEP IMPACT'' from COD4)
* Extended Mags (increase magazine size from 100 to 200 (what?!) )
M240 + GRIP/Ext. Mags.
SPAS 12 + GRIP
Equipament: Semtex + Stun grenades
Stopping power (You definelly need this one!)
Commando PRO (Ninja wouldn't fit to this weapon)
I would give it a 8/10, because it's damage is less than low!, and it's recoil is more like medium-high! (useless without grip.
