Help with Request Code for Adobe Illustrator

Where do you get the request code to get your activation code for your keygen? Right now I just got adobe illustrator cs2, ran a keygen, installed it with the generated keygen, and now it's asking for an activation code to be activated. Keygen needs a request code to get an activation code. What is a request code?
