@DiogoMAT tell "MATBuster2015" that he should either statically link against the Visual C++ 2011 Beta runtimes or ship his software with the redistributable (if it even exists yet, considering VS2011 is still in beta).



So for debug builds link against the static debug library /MTd and for the release build the static library /MT.

Also he should avoid using routines only available in the newer versions of Windows (Windows Vista, Windows 7) since, believe it or not, many people still use XP. For instance, I don't see any compelling reason to use GetTickCount64 (only available starting in Vista) instead of GetTickCount.
