    Combat Arms "hooking" detection

    I don't think "hook" accurately describes it, but I may be confusing what I was told with another game with CA.

    Does Combat Arms detect anything that hooks into it? I mean I would like to make a memory viewer for myself, and would like more..advice than, say, leaching. If a simple DLL can hook in and help me that, that's nice. But if CA detects anything and everything, then this is going downhill fast.

    So, basicly HS version of EU and NA are very different!
    IDK what version you are so I will just talk about both.
    The NA version detects All my engine hooks fast and closes the game. Also VMT hooks are detected on NA o_0
    On EU all my hooks are working fine, but you need to think on restoring bytes in Engine and CShell!
    But Im sure your trying to hook some APIs, which is on both versions 100% undetected for me

    Progress with my game - "Disbanded"
    • Fixed FPS lag on spawning entities due to the ent_preload buffer!
    • Edit the AI code to get some better pathfinding
    • Fixed the view bug within the sniper scope view. The mirror entity is invisible now!
    • Added a new silencer for ALL weapons. Also fixed the rotation bugs
    • Added a ton of new weapons and the choice to choose a silencer for every weapon
    • Created a simple AntiCheat, noobs will cry like hell xD
    • The name will be Disbanded, the alpha starts on the 18th august 2014



    Some new physics fun (Serversided, works on every client)

    I honestly don't know which APIs you're talking about, or which API's would help me. And yes, this is NA CA. Rather, should say it's Nexon's one. Are EU and NA versions even hosted by different people..?

    Anyways, thanks for that. So NA seems a bit more difficult to get into. I wonder what would get around it, even.

    well if you can find a way to attach your memory
    viewer to attach to CA because Engine.exe hides itssilf from programs like that
    and istant crasshes when detected.
    so....
    i suppose you could use some of the hooks
    around here to get an injectable dll thatlogs memory sddresses
    of your choice huh?

    as in, make the memory viewer, use a premade hook?

    but then i saw ou wanted a memory viewer not addy loggger
    so yeah,
    make the gui and all in a dll using a Hook already out for CA
    and inject it...
    gotta be careful because CShell, Ehsvc, and Engine
    really really really dont like debuggers or memory engines

    The only thing is the driver of HS which is fucking olly...
    Just nop the call which starts it in engine...
    Also look for blackcipher which is testing driver again!

    I could go for a memory viewer and address logger, but it'll only be worthwhile if I make it myself(need the practice).
