    3D Spheres and flickering

    Well, as a last result i would like to formally post a help request about a quite annoying issue i have been having, which has also stumped some great minds(Topblast,Saltine,Pyro).

    Well the issue and what's causing it is simple: Whenever myself or anyone else fires in game the sphere flickers. I will not post code public so other boys and girls can't c+p it. However if you would like to help and i know you are able to code i will pm you the code. Thanks all.

    Those are some crazy big round spheres.

    I like Saltine's better. Smaller and less drawing.

    I have no idea why shooting would affect something like this

    Haha easy to fix. The problem is with your w2s function I had this before, nothing with your sphere function.

    Progress with my game - "Disbanded"
    • Fixed FPS lag on spawning entities due to the ent_preload buffer!
    • Edit the AI code to get some better pathfinding
    • Fixed the view bug within the sniper scope view. The mirror entity is invisible now!
    • Added a new silencer for ALL weapons. Also fixed the rotation bugs
    • Added a ton of new weapons and the choice to choose a silencer for every weapon
    • Created a simple AntiCheat, noobs will cry like hell xD
    • The name will be Disbanded, the alpha starts on the 18th august 2014



    Some new physics fun (Serversided, works on every client)

    These aren't rendered using screen coordinates, a mesh is created and then translated in world view to the location of the item within the world itself, and then rendered.

    Here is your error: "[...] translated in world view [...]"
    I guess you are using not the games matrixes such as Projection.

    Progress with my game - "Disbanded"
    • Fixed FPS lag on spawning entities due to the ent_preload buffer!
    • Edit the AI code to get some better pathfinding
    • Fixed the view bug within the sniper scope view. The mirror entity is invisible now!

    No they're the same. You probably changed the color and what not, but Kyle was the one that gave you the source to it.

    It's not W2S, i checked all the call's and even disabled them. Still flickers sadly
