I fully support this idea. We can have different themes, but we can still use the same fonts, logo's etc. Color schemes can be changed every month. If we would get a newsletter for PC, that WOULD get us may more activity, but that requires a lot of work...and a huge team

Here is the mock design for now, there will be more added. The Logo is there so it can't be stolen (Also Mock Logo)

Wouldn't a Gaming Newsletter make mare sense? Why limit it to consoles when most of the games are for both PC and consoles and this is mainly a PC forum. For only console/PC there could just be that too.

I'd like to participate whatever we end up with doing. I can do some GFX stuff, but rather the actual layout + I'm probably gonna tell that the GFX stuff is to colorful.

Having different fonts and everything every month is not smart. People like when they know how things look, no IRL magazines/newsletters changes font every month. OFC you can change the front page as long as the logo stays the same, but not in the magazine, it works best if people know how things look.

if they do we could spare a page or two for this content and title it 'User Reviews' or 'Letters to the Editor'. Something around those parts.

Also @Diminished we need to start thinking about the types of positions available and how many open spots there are, first and foremost we need an editor who can spell check and look for improper grammar

If people submit the content i can go through it and see if everything is proper and all. .

Are you saying if a user submits a review you'll go through it and correct grammatical errors or for the entire magazine?

Yeah exactly, I would go through every one of the user submitted content and correct any error to make sure it is perfect, then i would publish it. .

GFX - logo, background, colour themes, etc.
Editor - makes sure proper grammar and spelling is used

Writers are pretty essential.

I would also recommend having one dude making all the pictures, another one for setting up the layout and a third for checking grammar.
Grammar checked before it gets layouted, or the grammar checker will fuck up the layout.
