I recently stumbled onto the MPGH Facebook page which is pretty much dead since the admins only post stuff on it once a year or even less than that, yet there are posts and most likely messages to the page from hundreds of users full of questions or people wanting to know what's happening when MPGH is down etc. Social media is a fantastic place to get more MPGH users and help them address their concerns, or inform people of giveaways and events which could possibly attract new users because who doesn't like free stuff?
@arunforce @Liz This is just a suggestion, but I believe you should assemble a News Force like team specifically for social media such as Facebook and Twitter to post daily news updates etc.
It's a pretty long suggestion, but I hope you read it whenever you have the time.
Facebook is a platform where you can reach plenty of new people and get fresh ideas about what games people would like to see hacked and how hackable can they be. There are plenty of people posting / commenting on the page even though no one posted anything on it in years, so the demand is there. Now all that needs to be done is to answer to the demand and see what new games could become good enough to have their own subforum. If a game or two manage to be good enough, there will be at least a handful of new users and some of them might even buy the premium seller / premium rank which gives you a bit more profit
Dave (couldn't tag you for some reason) could you let me have a shot and try it? I admin gaming groups and pages so I could hopefully revive the page with ease if I had at least one more volunteer from a US timezone. The news force already gives enough source material to advertise what's going on. Maybe make a public poll and see what the MPGH community thinks about the idea? Of course the decision is all up to you, so I hope you give it some thought.
