Same advice here I have experience with Turtle Beaches and you would be better off buying a 20$ pair from Frys or something and a L/R splitter. If you want real performance do some research or ask around on forums for what people have and like.

Amen. His budget is sub-200, I recommended ATH's m50s and AD700s, BD's dt770s, Denon's d2000 as they're all decent bang for the buck lower-end headphones. BD's dt770 are a tad bit bassy and the m50s kinda weird cause they're closed, but the rest are kinda cool. Tbh I don't have too much experience with lower-end headphones, but

Honestly, I have JVC HA-RX500s I got them for like 15 bucks and they sound amazing, better than the hundred dollar pairs my friends have.(Forget which one they are been awhile since I have talked with my friends)
