Non-Hamachi! (hooray)

Ok guys so me and Deadskulz have been working on the non-hamachi server for a while and we finally got it. To connect you need a to sign up for mineshafter and I will include a picture tut on how to do that below.

If you already have mineshafter, the ip-address to connect to is: 74.97.247.159

Installing/using mineshafter:

1. Sign up for a minecraft account at minecraft.

2. Sign up for a gmail account.

3. Go google mineshafter. Then go to the site and download the client proxy under the downloads tab.

4. Now, press login on the site and use the gmail account to login.


6. Now hover over your email, and pick settings.

7. Now connect your minecraft account by pressing "Change" and putting in the minecraft account info. You can pick your skin or cloak by browsing for png files to use as them.

8. Now run mineshafter_proxy which will be located wherever you have put it.

9. Now login.

10. Now connect to the ip mentioned above.

Now I would play on your new Non Lagging, 24/7, Non hamachi server if I could register on to Minecraft if Minecraft.net would open. Once I resolve this I'll play

No problem. I'll fix anyones problem thru teamviewer. Also I bet many mineshafter servers will be popping up after I made this one . If you guys didn't notice, when I first made a hamachi server, they started popping up so mineshafter servers are comming soon. Probably.

so yeah u guys saw me ingame but how do i get it to work properly? do i accept that update when i start minecraft via mineshaft? I just met up with deadskulz but still typing didn't work. I occasionly dc after awhile getting the "rnal exception: java.net.socketException: Software caused connection abort: recv fa
its getting cut off btw.

Garr server "down". Aka you get stuck on the login screen then you'll get connection timed out. I've left dead a message to restart it but I'm not sure if he'll do it for a while since he is asleep now and has school tomorrow. So it might be restarted around 12 pst im guessing. Sorry for the inconvenience but mineshafter doesnt seem too stable or its a certain plugin me and dead have been suspecting. Also I'm going to Texas. So I won't be on for a bit. So don't ask me for anything. Ask dead. With Axon. Since he's not ingame much.

wow this is awsome... since playin on your server my single player world wont work now, it keeps crashing... i spawn somewhere i have been before but not where i saved it at... anyone know how to fix this???

We need a way to check server online status.
Also, there should be a way for admins to remotely restart the server.
Hum, maybe a remote shortcut or something... I'll try and wiki\google the best solution.

That happens when you run mineshafter?
Technically, your worlds are safe. Navigate to %appdata%\.minecraft\saves and .rar all the folders in there and save them. Reinstall your minecraft and try running it after you replace saves with your backup.

Or use this for singleplayer, mineshafter for multi.
