    Car Speakers

I am looking to upgrade my speakers or put a sub in. I don't know to much about that kind of stuff so I came here to ask for help.
Some people are telling me I just need to buy a sub while others are saying I need speakers + sub + amp. Any help?

I would be careful with the subwoofers. Those things shoot out so much bass, its enough for a ticket, at least if you live in the U.S

You have some important choices to make if you're ready to select the perfect speakers for a new custom sound system in your car or truck. The first factor you'll need to look at is whether to go with component or full range speakers, but the process doesn't end with that single choice. Along with choosing between component or coaxial speakers, there are four main factors to aid you to find a very good new car speakers. In no particular order, those factors are:
    1. size
    2. sensitivity
    3. power handling
    4. build quality
Keeping those four factors in mind will allow you to find speakers that will work with the rest of your system and provide great sound, although you may also have to work within a budget, or consider other things.

You can also get a subwoofer that has a build in amplifier and you can fit it under the passenger seat if fitting in the trunk is not an option. I got one like that and it is great! Speakers I use Boston Acoustics. You need to find the once that can fit where your existing speakers are
