If I were incapable of being literate then yes, I would say that a majority of people do suck. The majority of people are literate, they use this to their advantage and make something of their lives. Perhaps you can decipher the common denominator for yourself.
i think were confused on what the 3rd option implied
i thought it meant that we don't think that people sucked we thought the person who made the original conjecture (in this case stoney) sucked
i think you thought that it meant that the observer (us) of such a conjecture sucked and not the people(what this is about) it referred too.
People underestimate other people all of the time, even themselves. If I saw you on the street I might be like "What a fkn douche bag" becuase you probably dress like a fag (Just joking, I'm just creating a context here.) In reality though, you too are a human being with a complex 20+ years in your life and a unique and individual perspective on our world. You're skillful in many things you can't even recall of the top of your head and your personality unqiuely formed over 20 years of life-experience. Fact is, todays world doesn't let us stop and appreciate how complex each one of us are - only the faults evident in those eachothers and ourselves.
There are two types of tragedies in life. One is not getting what you want, the other is getting it.
If you wake up at a different time in a different place, could you wake up as a different person?
