Introduction
Just got membership? Looking for a members-exclusive skill to train that is easy, fast, and can make you money? Look no further. I introduce to you, fletching. You might be asking yourself why fletching is so great. Well, the fact that everything you can make in fletching will stay in demand, it's fast to train, and you'll make profit 99% of the time really sums up why it's so amazing.
Shit just got real difficulty meter.

Training to 99
(please note that any calculations done including a strung bow are done assuming that you pick the flax and string them into bowstrings yourself)
Levels 1 - 10 the only things that you can fletch are arrow shafts. You'll need to fletch 231 logs to get to level 10 fletching. After you fletch them, you can sell the shafts made to cover most if not all of the gold spent buying the logs. If you have feathers, you can also fletch headless arrows which sell for a bit more but isn't really worth it as selling arrows themselves is better money.
Levels 10 - 25 fletch longbows from regular logs. It will take 669 logs to get there. Long bows sell for more than arrow shafts so you should also be able to make back any gold spent on buying the logs.
Levels 25 - 40 fletch oak longbows. It will take 1,176 oak longbows to get to level 40. Be advised that you do NOT string these. Stringing bows isn't entirely worth it until later levels. Consequently, later levels are also where you'll be making most of you gold from this skill.
Levels 40 - 50 you'll be fletching willow long bows. What makes willows so fantastic is that the logs don't cost much but you can sell the unstrung long bows at general shops for almost 2x the gold for buying the log alone. It will take 1,545 willow long bows to get to 50 which means you'll be making at least 72,615 GP.
Levels 50 - 75 you'll be fletching maple long bows. It'll take you around 17,904 bows before you reach that level. Fletching 17,904 should make you at least 823,584 GP which should be more than enough to get a yew logs for long bows in your next "training step."
Levels 75 - 85 fletch AND string yew long bows. The reason you string them is because after you do string them, you make a considerablely more amount of money. Doing this you can gain at least 3,591,265 GP for stringing the longbows or a measly 182,064 if you decide to forgo the stringing task.
Levels 85 - 99 is your final stage. This is also where you will be making most of your gold. Getting to level 99 from level 85 will be acheived via fletching AND stringing magic long bows. It will take 53,420 magic long bows. "How much money will we be making?" you might be asking yourself. Let's do some math, shall we?
You're making more than 7 million GP doing this. Isn't that wonderful?Code:53,420 * 1,291 = 68,965,220 (cost of logs) 53,420 * 1,424 = 76,070,080 (money made from selling strung longbows) 68,965,220 - 76,070,080 = 7,104,860 (total profit)
Final Words
This has been another guide by KABLE, hope you've enjoyed it. You may have noticed that there are other ways of training fletching, e.g. making arrows. They were not included because I feel that bows are the fastest and most efficient/cost worthy way of going about getting to 99. As always, If you have ANY questions, feel free to PM/VM/MSN me. My MSN is below in my signature. You can also post a reply to this thread if you want. If you have any suggestions or comments, feel free to do as above as well.
