Alright, the counter-strike series is officially DEAD at Source. I will NOT FUCKING PLAY GLOBAL OFFENSIVE ANY LONGER. It's complete bullshit.

First of all, why the fuck is Hidden Path fucking with the game? Why are they in charge? Where the fuck is Gooseman and Jesse? This is ALL WRONG.

The buy menu just SUCKS, it's a graphical update and nothing more.

You can't fucking silence the m4. WHAT THE DICK IS THAT.

The bots are just a complete mass of confused morons.

Every guns recoil and spread are so unrealistic it's exactly like Source after HP fucked it up with their shitty updates.

It's just a MIXTURE OF COD AND BF NOW.

I know man I'm just so disappointed in it. I told myself that at first but even with the suggestions I've posted they ignore them and just keep it going as a franchise. Counter-Strike was meant to keep its existing players happy, but now it seems all they want to do is attempt to compete with CoD and BF I just want to see the old CS back man.

I'm glad I stopped playing CS.
I'm glad I read this post so I save money.

I remember after my 2-year break, I came back!, joined a server!, and... wow... I couldn't believe the amount of children that were playing the game at that time.
I felt bad... my skill in the game was just horrific!, but thanks to all the little CoD fanboys, I was able to pub stomp.
Occasionally I came in contact with someone who out measured my skill, but I focused, and we traded kills round after round, etc. That would be fun.

But wow. I hope you don't mean that they added in the Aim Down Sight feature. I could see how that would ruin CS. I like the skill it required with hip-fire only.

So you're more into franchises I'm guessing? That's fine, but it still isn't Counter-Strike. Counter-Strike was always focused on the community enhancing the game, but GO is just about making money. That and they didn't have Gooseman and Cliffe work on it, they had some bullshit company come in and make it to attract the franchise lovers

Honestly i cannot fathom why they didnt take the pre update cs:s or even 1.6 mechanics, improve fluidity and rego and server stability, mod-ability (server side), then work to graphically bring counter strike to the current age (with ability to bring css back to its 'sheen'-free style through settings if wished) and recreate the maps and gameplay modes (build in surf/gungame/climb)?

Cmon valve... whats this steaming heap...
