Speak for the boys in the bando and my nigga never walkin’ again
Apologized if I’m harpin’ again, I know these things happen often
But I’m back on the scene, I was lost in a dream as I write this;A teen down in Austin”

Well, they actually did try to imply it very slightly. Between this picture and the OP, I can see where he was coming from. Regardless, I don't see it happening. That would be extremely retarded. Besides, they looked the same age in the past and she is supposed to meet her brother in the city.
Mumei got brainwashed by that weird guy (ear of the young master)
and that titan-like kabane
Brain washed? No. She's realizing that she'll likely get disowned for not being strong. Softening up because she actually talks to people and such.
Episode Four (Five?)
Not impressed a whole lot. The action is bland and plain lazy. The only thing this show has going for it is the soundtrack and sometimes character interactions. The formed giant Kabane that they called "black smoke" is likely to get taken down by either some elitist team or Ikoma/Mumei tag team after they do some cliche """love bond""" in the cave, where Mumei opens up to him.

This predictability is exactly why I don't understand why people like the anime so much. I'm caught up and I'll keep watching but really only because this season is almost all trash.
The anime's getting interesting, but it's annoying how the girl is charging in guns blazing just because some old man told her she could become expendable and useless. I bet that she'll confess to the MC and he'll say the typical "We will be friends forever, you don't need to worry about him / her" line and she'll develop romantic feelings towards him. That's my speculation at least
You seriously expect me to believe that a couple dozen passengers living off soup was able to move a train back onto the rails? Aside from that, looks like I was right about the whole """love bond""" thing. Not exactly an elitist team showing up either, but I guess a cannon works.
I predicted it, i fucking predicted it lads. The kabaneri girl faced the consequences of charging in like an idiot and was crushed by a fucking boulder. She starts going all emotional because she wants to live but she doesn't want help from the lad she is starting to fall for. In the end he helps her, there is some boring dialogue about friendship and together they get out and defeat the big bad monster with the power of friendship.
