I have not been banned and I spawn 4 or 5 items at time, I also server jump and make sure not to join the same server twice. The server's I normally join only have 3 or 4 people so I join really quickly get my stuff then bounce. I just did this about an hour ago (it's 7pm eastern time here) and no problems. Don't spawn items on server's you actually want to play on.

Can you share how you are finding the servers? I have read this thread and people are mentioning 'seattle' servers, but is that servers located in seattle or is it some specific hosting company?

I am using DayZ Commander, but can use six updater if need be......I just need to work out how to find a server I can do this on?

Generally try to search RU servers (Russian) as they will work, you may get kicked for ping being high if you're playing in the US but some are lower.

some of the seattle servers also allow right-shift-P but it's hit or miss. I'd log on normally hit r-shift P and if it lets you without kicking you then you're fine.

be forewarned though, anything other than player addweapon, player additem player addmagazine is already flagged. Those 3 are also flagged however they are also used in general game logs so it's hard to differentiate. just don't make it obvious.

I just open up arma 2 right from the desktop no commander/sixupdator. I change the player search to lowest population with the highest ping rate, I also don't use the shift + p method I use the open bag method. Works great and I don't have to search for a ru or seatle server.

lol i spawned some rare guns for me and my friends 3 days ago and i didnt get banned since i spawned a vehicle xD,... so dont do this, but spawning weapons seems pretty safe on the right servers
btw i got banned 2 min after i spawned a vehicle :P

No this isn't detected by Battle Eye, it can't, that's not how it works (however with Battle update 1.69) all logs are centralized now so that may change. The issue at hand is this, although player addweapon; player addmagazine; player additem etc. is the same common script used when actually picking up normal items in the game, the script coding before and after those commands are not. For example if you were to spawn an item into someone's backpack (which is possible) it would not have player but a name instead, same deal with if you're picking it up from the ground versus spawning it by the right+Shift+P. Also, there is a new tool for server admins that enable them to whitelist anything that IS common, ie. a regular playeraddweapon or playeraddMagazine. With that new tool it is possible and very likely that your spawn will just be another line in the regular logs, but the new tool and server BE security options allow them to move all suspicious codes or scripts to a different file alltogether. I believe for Right+Shift+P this is called the remoteexec.txt or something to that effect. In that regard server admins can easily scan through it as it's no longer gigs and gigs of code. It makes it easier for them to spot.

1.69 BE update may also pose another issue, I'm not sure without further research how the logs have been changed but I would avoid using this for the time being. If you have to use it or just can't wait a few days or weeks, I would just go to a non-US server or a server where it's dead. Populated servers were the previous choice circa August 15th or so, but since then this new tool that came out for server admins changes that entire thought process. Your best bet now is to find servers that admins don't really care about. You may say why wouldn't any admin care about their servers if they are paying for it, well there are a number of servers out there that are very low traffic, average of 1 to maybe 5 players a day. those are the ones you are looking for. Don't go onto those servers and kill anyone or hunt other players even if you see them and have an oppurtunity. you don't want to piss of an admin playing with his friends and then checking the logs and sending it to BE to ban you.

Lastly, with 1.69 BE I don't know if the logs are sent DIRECTLY to BE? Or if the admins still have to send and provide proof. Use at your own risk.
