For those updating hacks for newer clients, I stumbled across this handy plugin for notepad++. It's simply named Compare and can be downloaded from the plugin manager notepad++ has. Should make updating names way easier.

Its a plugin ? Its default for me...
Also it isnt really that good and Im suprised you didnt know notepad++ before ._.

I use notepad++ all the time. Compare didn't come default with mine... all this time I was updating hacks by manually searching through two files at once. It was a pain. This makes things 10x easier.
What don't you like about it? Know of something better? I took a look at WinMerge, seems ok. Don't know if I would use it over compare found in notepad++ because I use notepad++ all the time.
