What are you going to be using this comptuer for? I think since you're on this forum, it would be primarily gaming but depends on whether or not you graphics design or anything like that. Lemme know and I'll pick out the parts for you.

No offense but you guys suck at choosing components. Honestly sounds like no thought went in at all.

CPU - K Series is more expensive and has someone who has never built a PC you will most likely not want to OC. You can still get a slight OC on these Non K CPU's with various methods.
Motherboard - ATX Size good brand. Didn't go put in a $200 board since our most likely not going to OC.
    Cooler - Standard.
Memory - 16GB should be the norm with custom build PCs the price is dirt cheap and helps in so many different situations.
Storage - I put a fast 250GB SSD in their. For a mass storage one go pick up a used one. Mechanical hard drives are so unreliable there is no point getting a brand new one. I've had 3 die on me in 12 months ~.
Video card - The fact you guys recommend a 970 makes me laugh. Windows 10 has optimized the R9s further and on some games compared against the 970 there is a 20 FPS increase. There is no game where the GTX beat the R9.
Case and PSU are standard. They are nice. Semi is fine not like your putting custom cables in anyway.
